In today’s society we are constantly conflicted with choosing between old home remedies and items vs new modern medicine and modern gadgets. This is by no means a post to tell you which method is better than the other, but merely to point out home remedies and items that I have come across in this past month. That worked out for my kids and I. I am sure you have heard about or even used one or all of these home tips before please let me know in the comments below.
I decided to go for the mauve prompt this week ,which was selected in honour of our awesome South African Blogger Ordinary Misfit.
Mauve can be considered as a neutral colour (so it is work friendly) it is also a fantastic colour for the Autumn/Winter season.
We decided to go to Canal Walk cinema’s to watch Zootropolis. We were three adults with three kids under the age of 9 with us ,which ,in itself is already a task and a half lol.
16.04.2016 was the due date given to me for the birth of my bouncing baby boy (said in the voice of hades from Disney’s Hercules)
This prompt was chosen by yours truly. The reason I chose it because it is my birthstone (my birthday was the 28th of March).
My maternity leave has finally started!Thank goodness. What does this mean for me?Lots of rest and preparing for the new addition to our family
I am probably the most pathetic person in this challenge when it comes to keeping up with the prompts.
While others are already on week 3,I am stilling over here posting my week 2 mani. Below is a poster made by the wonderful Briget from BecauseIcan to show us what the prompts are for this month.
This is the second time I am purchasing this foundation, and what always draws me to it,is the amazing full coverage I achieve when I apply it.Mac Studio Sculpt foundation I would say is best for dry to combination. My T-Zone is extremely dry so normally when I apply foundation after a while it start flaking in between my eyebrows, which has not happened with this foundation.
The title of this post was my sisters’ exact words (she has no kids but is a school teacher so has plenty experience) when I posed the question of how to deal with temper tantrums in our family group.I didn’t really notice this before when I only had Zoë ,but thinking about it now,it surely was there. The other day while Kai was throwing a tantrum, I realised that this is not something we teach our children it’s something that just naturally comes to them as each one of them have their own way of doing it.
Two months ago or so the Garnier Micellar Water was launched and many reviews were doing the rounds. As much as I wanted to give it a try to let you guys know what I thought of it,I guess I totally missed the bandwagon and then I received the Lipidol Cleansing Oil from Beauty Bulletin and figured I would give this one a miss.
