NaillinkupSA – Fire and Ice

I am probably the most pathetic person in this challenge when it comes to keeping up with the prompts.

While others are already on week 3,I am stilling over here posting my week 2 mani. Below is a poster made by the wonderful Briget from BecauseIcan to show us what the prompts are for this month.

The prompt I am attempting this week is Fire and Ice.If I had mega nail art skills I would have probably painted on some awesome flames on my middle 3 fingers and some icycles on my thumb and pinky, but, alas I do not. So,I settled for some rhinestones on my ring finger a mixture of red and amber ,to represent the fire and because that was already so very busy,I went very plain with the other nails by painting it with a white polish from Nail Inc called Mayfair which I covered with a blue and silverish effect/liquid foil polish from Essence called I don’t need money, honey to represent the ice.I also used the Yardley Proteinised glaze treatment for my base and top coat.

To anybody that is planning on using rhinestones for nail art, I will definetly recommend you getting one of these pencils above definitely makes the job easier.

  2. This is so cool I am not really that good at doing nails but I am always looking for ideas of what can be done to my nails

Thank you for linking up to the sharing day on SA Mom blogs

    1. Thanks so much,it really helps to have the prompts to assist you with ideas on what to do with your nails.I am no pro as yet but the more you do it the better you become. It’s always a pleasure to #sharethelove you know it’s one of my main reasons for my blog to support local talent.
