I’ve been a bit busy over this past week,so I am a bit late for the pink christmas prompt (but it doesn’t matter- that’s the beauty of N.A.I.L) so I have decided that I will combine 2 prompts – my logic being one late one early makes it on time hehehe.
The first thing that came to mind when I thought pink christmas was a pink christmas tree (but being an amateur,I knew this would take 10 years and I am already late with the prompt lol, so I started to think about what else I could do(thank goodness I have friend called google).So my “friend” gave me some inspiration.
These christmas tree trimmings normally come in a pack of 6 with 3 being plain and the other 3 glitter/sparkly.So that is when I decided to go with this mani 3 sparkly(let it sparkle) and the other 2 plain(pink christmas).It’s a bit on the boring side but atleast it looks pretty,my work colleague commented that it looked like Barbie nail polish and my hubby said it was a bit to young for me lol (does he know I am only sweet sixteen lmao) but nevertheless I love it.
To create this manicure, I used;
Nail polish remover to clean and prepare my nails for a new manicure.
Essence gel look top coat (for my base and top coat)
Rimmel Lycra Pro in Urban Princess
And a glitter polish that was part of a nail art ,nail polish purchased at Bling in Promenade Mall for R12,yes R12 I kid you not.
I also finished off by nourishing my cuticles with a cuticle oil by nail inc
Pics of all these are captured below I added a pair of Zoë’s slippers in the pic because summer 😉
Edit: This post was supposed to be published on the 16 December but due to telkom I was done for a whole month.
